The History of the Company

I trained as a translator and editor with the InterPress Service in Montevideo, Uruguay during the 1990s and where I also freelanced for a range of other Non-Governmental Organisations.

I returned to the UK in 1999, where I worked part-time as a primary school teacher and teacher of Spanish while building up my freelance clientele.

I earned a distinction in my MA in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth in January 2006 and became a fully qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in November 2007.

I have worked as a full time freelance translator, editor and educator ever since, taking up a part-time post as Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Portsmouth from Easter 2014.
